Tip. It is customary to tip your crew at the end of your charter. The amount you leave is at your discretion and should be based on the level of service provided. The suggested gratuity is 15-20% of the total charter fee.
THE CREW
STELLA
Stella is British and Spanish but was born and raised in The Netherlands.
Growing up learning to sail on Lasers in Scotland, everything about the ocean always excited her. From lifeguarding, swim coaching, surfing, sailing, scuba diving, underwater videography and photography, her life and passions have always circulated around the sea.
During her time at university in England, where she directed and edited short films, (some of which have been recognized in International film festivals), she spent her long summers working on sailing yachts. After having various roles in the yachting industry, she obtained her Yachtmaster Offshore Sail 200T license in Gibraltar and has worked on charters in Croatia, Greece, the Amalfi coast and Balearic Islands before moving to the BVI.
IONA
Iona was born and raised in-between London and the Cotswolds, also spending many summers in Lake Como which sparked her passion and love for cooking. Iona has been trained at both the Ashburton and Orchards cookery school in the U.K. and has worked over several summers as a private chef in the Algarve Portugal where she made top quality meals in the comfort of the client villas.
During the winter seasons Iona worked in the French Alps running and catering chalets to a very high standard. With both of these experiences, Iona is able to present and deliver a vast variety of cuisines. Iona aims to impress and wow and is constantly experimenting with new ideas, always receiving outstanding reviews. Iona has a Mediterranean cooking flare and loves working with both land and sea elements.
After graduating with 2:1 degree in Economics from Oxford Brookes University, Iona worked in the renowned Chelsea Harbour Design Centre, before following her passion for hospitality and starting her first yacht season in Mallorca where she met Stella. They worked together on a 55ft catamaran sailing around the Balearic Islands. They are a dynamic and outstanding team, and they have the customers wellbeing at the heart of everything they do. They have chartered the Mediterranean extensively and are looking forward to welcoming guests in the Caribbean.

What a fabulous week, with you and on Belle Vie! EVERYTHING was GREAT - from the food, to the snorkeling, visiting new places like Monkey Point and the Bubbly Pool!! Food was delicious! My favorite was the seared tuna! The coconut rice and chicken was my second favorite! You two are the most fun and we truly enjoyed getting to know you. Best wishes on your life's journey!

JANUARY 2023 - BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
I know everyone who has a good captain thinks theirs is the best. I KNOW the captain on my boat is the number one captain for a charter. In his command we always felt safe and secure in his knowledge and handling of our sailboat. Always he greeted us with his warm smile and pleasant disposition. He never seemed rushed or bothered by all the needs of our family group of twenty. At the end of the charter we felt like we were leaving a dear friend. I cannot give him enough accolades! He was easy to talk to, always trying to serve his guests and accommodate them with any desire of their hearts.
Rob and his wife/chef Belinda are such a pleasant couple. They truly compliment each other and work well together. We were beyond blessed to have them as our crew. They made our trip enjoyable and pleasing. Rob never got upset with our active, over the top family. He continued to smile throughout our exploits. He was helpful and quick to meet our needs. I could go on and on about telling what a great captain he is. You will not be disappointed if you are fortunate enough to have him captain your sailboat!!! A Plus Plus!!

The yacht was absolutely spotless and beautiful. We were left wanting for nothing more. Everything we needed for the perfect vacation was available and in great working condition.
The crew was spectacular. They provided the highest level of service possible. Everything, from the amazing food to the fantastic guidance on where to go and what to do, was perfect. I truly can't imagine a better crew to work with.
The food was fantastic. It was delicious and the variety was great. Belinda really worked to understand our likes and dislikes and adjusted every meal to fit our needs perfectly. Since arriving home we've been craving Belinda's food!!
Rob was a fantastic captain. Not only did he work tirelessly to keep the yacht in perfect shape but he was also a great guide during the trip. He catered our itinerary around the needs of our entire group. Whether that was extreme amounts of snorkeling for some or extreme relaxation and bar hopping for others. We all got what we wanted out of our week long vacation of a lifetime!

This has been an extraordinary vacation thanks to you both. We have enjoyed every moment. Belle Vie was full of love, laughs and beautiful views. B's meals surpassed one another! The desserts were over the top! You made our anniversaries memorable. We could taste your anniversary cake was baked with love! A memory we will never forget. You will forever be out Queen B! Captain Rob thank you so much for guiding us without a worry in the world. AND making our men happy fishing. Each of you catered to our needs perfectly. There are not enough thank yous in the world for this trip. From Willie T's to the snorkeling and interesting interactions with dolphins. I had no idea what this trip had in store for us. The hospitality was superb, the rooms well-appointed, and the attention to detail unmatched. Most important, are the memories and new friends we made along the way (and the food!) We all had a blast and felt very blessed to have you be our hosts for the week. The food was amazing and the many stops between each meal were welcomed adventures. From jumping off Will T's, to meandering through the Baths, to New Years on Anegada...we all had a ball!! I can assure you this trip will be talked about for many, many years!

MARCH 2022 - BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
We are a group of four couples who decided to charter a catamaran for a special vacation and birthday celebration. The Belle Vie and her crew, Rob and Belinda, far exceeded our expectations. The Belle Vie is fairly new and in excellent condition. It is clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for four couples and the crew.
Rob’s energy and enthusiasm, generosity, and good humor helped make every day an adventure. We loved the snorkeling, underwater scooters, wakeboarding, hikes, and the cuddle puddle. Our excursions to the baths, the bubbly pool, and the iconic places such as Willie T’s, the Soggy Dollar, Hendo’s Hideout, and Foxy’s were amazing. We loved our day on Anegada, where we toured on scooters and then did a two-hour excursion with Kelly’s Tours to snorkel at conch island and over the reefs and see the flamingos. Rob was always there to proactively suggest something fun or make us a cocktail.
Belinda is the best cook ever! The meals she made in the galley space were incredible. From breakfast through dinner, we enjoyed exquisitely prepared food from eggs and bacon with mimosas to burgers and fish tacos to pan-seared beef and salmon. Desserts included homemade tiramisu, custards with fruit, and an outstanding carrot cake!
Both Rob and Belinda were kind, patient, engaging, fun, and great conversationalists. We especially loved our sing-along night when they joined in to sing some of their favorite songs with us. They truly made this trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience we will all treasure for years to come! Thank you!

What a glorious time my family had sailing with you in the BVI’s! As we anticipate winter temps and probable frozen precip this evening, we are longing for Belle Vie, your hospitality and those warm, sunny islands!! I don’t think we can ever top the fun times and adventures we had with you. Thank you so much for giving all of us the trip of a lifetime. We had such fun!!!
Both of you were always right on hand to offer hospitality and adventures. What a fabulous array of delicious meals the “master chef” prepared. And the Captain was always spot on with a water toy or adventure. Indeed we were blessed to be on Belle Vie with the two of you, who made our trip so memorable.

I want to first say that Rob and Belinda were absolutely amazing. The food and service were second to none. I feel as though they did everything in their power to make sure that we had the best experience we could have . . . and we did. That was all thanks to them.
