Tip. It is customary to tip your crew at the end of your charter. The amount you leave is at your discretion and should be based on the level of service provided. The suggested gratuity is 15-20% of the total charter fee.
THE CREW
JAMES
James grew up in the British countryside on a farm. From a young age he was obsessed with anything and everything mechanical. He spent summers in his father's Irish coastal hometown of Dungarvan and it was there that he developed a love for the ocean.
He started a career in the luxury eyewear industry working for brands such as TAG Heuer and Calvin Klein, but eventually his love for the ocean won out and drew him toward a career in the yachting industry. He has worked for two years now as a charter captain in various locations including Croatia and French Polynesia.
OLGA
Olga grew up in Odessa, a beautiful Ukrainian city near the Black Sea. From the beginning, it was Olga's dream to travel the world. She loves the opportunity to work with people and started as a crew agent, but the sea, traveling and boat life remained her passion.
This dream became a reality when she landed her first job onboard a motor yacht as a Stewardess, cruising the Mediterranean and Caribbean sea. Olga's passion for cooking and traveling became a wonderful mix of dreams and reality.
She enjoys exploring her surroundings, experiencing different meals and learning new cultures. This allows her to add meals to her menu that are inspired by her creativity both in presentation and flavor.
The slogan of her life: to be happy everyday, meeting wonderful people, doing what you really love and smile!

APRIL 2024 - BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
We had an amazing time on Bella. We cannot say enough good things about Captain James and Olga. James did a great job discerning where our interests were and adjusting the itinerary for that. I feel that we were able to have some more exclusive experiences because of this. He knew how to avoid the crowds which was very appealing to our group. Somehow each day was better than the day before.
Olga’s food was outstanding. She paid great attention to detail and her dishes were better than any five star restaurant. From her presentation to her flavors, we were truly amazed after each meal. She has a gift for cooking and took special care to create meals that appealed to our group.
They were both very professional, but still friendly and we enjoyed getting to know them during our charter. We appreciated their expertise about the BVIs- the two times we are onshore they managed everything with the restaurants and made excellent recommendations.
MARCH 2024 - BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
From the moment we stepped aboard the Bella Charter, we knew we were in for a treat, but nothing could have prepared us for the incredible trip ahead. James was a fantastic captain, who did not only an incredible job navigating us around the most beautiful locations within the BVI’s but also was super great with our kids, taking them on wakeboard adventures, helping them fish, etc. The Bella itself was the most beautiful and comfortable boat. We are a family of 4 and the primary suite was much larger and expansive than expected. The indoor and outdoor lounge areas were super comfortable and there are a few different areas to hang out, providing opportunities to chill and read or socialize. And the food! Chef Teesha's culinary magic turned each meal into a feast. She mastered cooking for a family with gluten, dairy and nut allergies in the most delicious way, which is no small feat! Her dishes were vibrant, fresh and family-friendly. This trip was the epitome of fun for our boys and super tranquil for us. It's not a question of if, but when we will return again. A huge thank you to the crew for an unforgettable experience!

What an amazing, beautiful, delicious adventurous week we felt like you really heard everything we wanted and you nailed it. The food and drinks are amazing and every location (so many) was awesome and you guys are such kind souls who joined us in laughing. You’re the best.

Thank you for such a wonderful first experience in BVI and on a boat! You guys really took care of us and made this one of the best trips/vacations of our lives! The captain and chef were very helpful in helping us on and off the boat. Ariq was very thoughtful is meeting Linda’s special dietary needs. The meals were outstanding and well planned. The pace was perfect. We sailed to a different island each day. I want to go back!

Sailing through The Bahamas on the Bella has been an experience nothing short of extraordinary! Your generous hospitality made our stay all the more special. We will miss chasing sunsets, snorkeling reefs, riding the dingy and devouring gourmet meals with you both. Grant's precise navigating skills and attentiveness made us feel safe at all times, and Ulrika's delicious cooking was simply to die for. We loved hearing stories about your world travels and we hope that the future brings your many exciting adventures. We are sad to leave, but we are grateful for the memories we have made.

What an amazing week we had aboard this beautiful vessel! Our quarters (cabin) were so comfortable and luxurious! Thank you so much for your over-the-top hospitality and catering - and fantastic food! This is a trip we will never forget; the iguanas, the turtles, the shark (!), the pigs, the beautiful beaches, the grotto, the kayaking, the sunsets!! Do we really have to leave you???
Please, please, please come see us when you come to New England. It is beautiful during "hurricane season". We will never forget either or you.
